GDMBR day 28 – Saturday, August 12, 2023

Total miles – 1009.27 Total ascent – 68,758

The name of the game today was climbing!!! Lots and lots of climbing. I took a few pictures but most of my energy went into pedaling uphill.

We camped at Mosquito Lake and we were far enough from the water that mosquitoes weren’t a problem. Views were spectacular. We also had our first campfire.

Annie,
I am so proud of you for getting over the 1000 miles milestone! You got this! I want you to know I read each day’s blog even if I have been busy riding myself and did not comment so far! You are inspiring me every day!
