There was a nip in the air this morning. It felt different from the other cold mornings we’ve had. Maybe it’s just me knowing fall is on the way.
After bouncing down more rough, rock strewn trails we passed through the hamlet of Vallecito. Hard to tell if anyone lived there. It was very decrepit.
We lost a lot of elevation today( very thankful) from about 10,000 feet to just less than 7000 feet. Now things are looking a lot more like what I pictured the southwest to look like.
Tonight we are staying in an Air B n B and tomorrow is a rest day. Whew!
