Since rain is predicted for tomorrow, which would make the sandy/ clay roads an impassable mess we doubled up two shorter routes today.
We were supposed to camp in Pie Town but instead just stopped there for lunch and what else? Pie of course!!
I had two pieces of pie!! Strawberry Rhubarb and Thunder Berry which had strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Both were delicious.
We then continued on another 29 or so miles in very strong headwinds and short little rain showers.
Tonight we are camped in a campground that is a ponderosa pine forest. Lovely. But thunderstorms are booming and rain squalls happening. We may not ride tomorrow if the weather is foul, hence the big push today.
