Our second rest day in Silver City. I walked around the old town in the morning and was unsuccessful in getting a haircut.
There were posters up around town advertising the Diamonds and Denim Ball happening tonight, to benefit the Silver City Museum.
Our small group decided to go so we spent the early afternoon thrift store shopping for some denim outfits.
We were warmly welcomed and had a great time!
The most amazing thing happened at the dance. I spotted a man across the room who looked like someone I went to high school with. We are Facebook friends so I know what he looks like currently. I got up the courage to go over and sure enough it was Paul Spadafora and his wife!!!! They had just flown in from New York to visit her sister. And from these tiny threads our paths intersected!
